fire?

On 4:20,ring had broke my sweet dream.I picked up the call.It was Alex .And he said fireman came to our building and sth happened,he told me to go downstair as soon as i can.So,i waked Bin up,and went downstair.We meet two fireman when we open the door.They asked where we have been and why we came out so late.In facts,Bin and I fall asleep at 3:00,and fire warning happend at3:20,we all had deep sleep,so we had missed it.We have smelled a kind of bad smell,but there was no smoke and fire. so,what happend?

    So what happened? Was there a fire? And how come you didn't wake up????? The alarm must be really loud.
